Family Work Weekend
Friday, 02 May 2008
The Family Work Weekend will be held May 16-18. We will begin Friday evening and work through Sunday morning on a variety of projects.

Arrive: Friday evening after dinnertime (6-9pm-ish)
Depart: Sunday morning (10am-ish)

Getting to camp:  We will keep this site posted as to the status of Highway 44.  At this time it is closed, meaning you must arrive through The Dalles.

If you go through The Dalles, as Highway 44 is still closed from the west due to snow.  Do not attempt to use the Hwy 26 / Hwy 35 route.  Instead, take I-84 to The Dalles, 197 to Dufur, take a right at the end of town (there is a Baldwin sign there) then bear right onto Dufur Valley Road at the white Grange Hall, then up Dufur Valley Road to Baldwin.  It is recommended that you download a map at www.cpcbsa.org.   GPS coordinates, in case you use a GPS are  45. 24.257 n / 121. 25.484 w

The camp road is plowed down to the dining hall.  Please drive down to that area to unload, and park in the staff parking lot.

Meals provided: Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast.

Bring: Warm work clothes, sleeping bag, toiletries, warm footwear (boots) for snow conditions, gloves, etc.

Questions?  please contact Missy Hill, camp director, at 503.255.4466 / This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it before Friday Noon.

Campfire Bowl Fundraiser
Wednesday, 08 August 2007

Members of the Camp Baldwin Staff Alumni Association are collecting donations to rebuild the campfire bowl seating and stage at Camp Baldwin. The stage has been in service since the early 1980's and is in need of replacement. Likewise, audience seating is in need of replacement.

Any and all donations are appreciated and will help toward providing a comfortable and safe bowl for the traditional American Heritage program at Camp Baldwin.

Those who wish to help may make a pledge to donate, or may make a donation right now.  If you'd like to pledge, click here .  If you'd like to make an online donation with credit card, click here .

Thank you for your support!

Wednesday, 03 January 2007
This site is intended to serve two groups, Scoutmasters and Staff. Information for Scoutmasters is always available without logging-in, but staff and alumni-related items are only accessable by logging in using the login form to the right. Any previous or current Baldwin staffer is welcome to signup as a member by clicking 'register' in the login form.

Once logged-in, staffers will find an active forum of staffers with discussions on a variety of topics, a Baldwin calendar of upcoming dates, and downloadable staff forms and resources.

If you are having difficulty logging in, but have an account, the most common issue is cookies. Please make sure cookies are enabled in your browser, and you may want to delete your cookies if the system doesn't recognize you (see Can't Log-in? in the left column).
