All Baldwin Staff Alumni are invited to hang out at Baldwin on August 1-2, 2008 for an informal reunion!
FRIDAY night (Aug 1) will feature Baldwin's (World Famous!) Chicken Barbeque, followed by American Heritage. This should be a fun chance to reminisce, relive American Heritage (there have been changes to Heritage over the years…what's new with YOUR script part?), and connect with other past staffers.
SATURDAY, for those that choose to stay overnight, will begin with breakfast at the parade grounds. After breakfast, folks are welcome to hike around, revisit camp a bit, and then join back together at the waterfront for a grill lunch and staff swim.
We sure hope you can make it to this little gathering. As you can see, it's very loosely planned, and mostly is happening to give folks a chance to reconnect and just hang out at camp.
Big thanks to the current staff and camp management for making us welcome!
Bring: Clothing, shower items, sleeping bag, all that type of camping stuff if you want to sleep over. Bring a tent as the camp may be full; if a campsite is open we'll be able to use camp tents. RVs are okay if you're okay with parking it in the upper parking lot.
Cost:
$4 breakfast
$5 lunch
$6 dinner
(these are the normal camp meal fees; our fees go directly to the camp for food costs)
Times:
FRIDAY:
3 – 6pm arrive and visit with other past staffers
6pm – dinner / American Heritage after dinner
SATURDAY:
9am – Breakfast
12pm – lunch at waterfront, open swim & boating

Members of the Camp Baldwin Staff Alumni Association are collecting donations to rebuild the campfire bowl seating and stage at Camp Baldwin. The stage has been in service since the early 1980's and is in need of replacement. Likewise, audience seating is in need of replacement. Any and all donations are appreciated and will help toward providing a comfortable and safe bowl for the traditional American Heritage program at Camp Baldwin. This site is intended to serve two groups, Scoutmasters and Staff. Information for Scoutmasters is always available without logging-in, but staff and alumni-related items are only accessable by logging in using the login form to the right. Any previous or current Baldwin staffer is welcome to signup as a member by clicking 'register' in the login form.
Once logged-in, staffers will find an active forum of staffers with discussions on a variety of topics, a Baldwin calendar of upcoming dates, and downloadable staff forms and resources.
If you are having difficulty logging in, but have an account, the most common issue is cookies. Please make sure cookies are enabled in your browser, and you may want to delete your cookies if the system doesn't recognize you (see Can't Log-in? in the left column). |
